Fred Allegrezza

Chief Executive Officer

Fred Allegrezza is a serial entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in Executive/Technology Management and Business Development in the Computer and Communications sector. Fred has been founder‚ CEO‚ and angel investor of multiple successful startup companies. Most recently‚ Fred was the primary investor and Executive Chairman of AnySource Media‚ a Connected TV software company acquired at a premium by DivX in September of 2009.

In 1997‚ Fred founded Vivid Technology‚ a successful Video On Demand company that grew, merged with Concurrent Computer Corporation and became an industry leader delivering VOD systems to Comcast‚ Time Warner‚ Cox‚ and other cable companies. Vivid/Concurent captured 40% of the cable VOD market. Fred continued as CTO of Concurrent Computer through 2002.

In 2002‚ Fred was a primary investor on the Board of Advisors for Everstream, a Targeted Advertising technology company. Everstream was later acquired by Concurrent. Fred was also primary investor and Director for OpGate‚ a technology firm developing MPEG 4 codecs. OpGate was acquired by Cisco in 2006 for the technology behind Cicso Telepresence. Prior to Vivid Technology and Concurrent Computer‚ Fred was an executive with General Instruments (now part of Motorola) leading the development of Interactive Cable Television Systems.

In 2004‚ Fred Allegrezza and Cliff Lewis co-founded Vertasent–developing Video On Demand Management and Switched Digital Video Technology for the Cable TV industry. Vertasent was acquired at a premium by Motorola in 2006‚ with Fred staying on in an executive capacity through 2007.

Fred is the named inventor on 5 US Patent Applications in Video On Demand technology.

Mr. Allegrezza graduated 1981 with a BSEE Degree from Drexel University.

Mike Tudisco

Chief Operating Officer

Mike joins the team with over 25 years of experience in Operations, Customer Service, Product and Program Management, and Business Development. Most recently, Mike was the VP of Video Software Operations with Comcast Corporate in Philadelphia. In this role he was responsible for providing technical support for video client applications, server platforms, and cable TV infrastructure to internal operations and test organizations as well as external partners. Mike was also the VP of Project Services at Comcast where he was responsible for program management associated with the Video, High Speed Data, Voice and Business Services lines of business.

Prior to joining Comcast Mike was VP of Product Management and Customer Service with Concurrent Computer Corporation from 2000 to 2006 and initially worked closely with Fred, Cliff and Tim to deploy over 80 Video On Demand systems throughout the United States, Canada and Asia. While at Concurrent Mike’s customer service and support teams improved Customer satisfaction from 50% to 90% within 13 months while increasing customer acceptance of Service Level Agreements resulting in annual revenue increase from $3M to $16M.

Prior to joining the Telecommunications Industry in 2000 Mike also worked at Moore Products Co. for over 20 years with Fred and Cliff and enjoyed the technical and business challenges afforded to him as the Director of Platform Integration and Architecture Product Management. It is during his many years at Moore Products where he believes he developed a strong work ethic, experienced the rewards of developing high performing teams, and a thirst for technology.

Clifford Lewis II

Founder, Director

Cliff Lewis has over 30 years of experience developing high-performance, high-reliability‚ distributed computing systems for the Cable and Process Control industries. Before starting Venture 3 Systems with Fred Allegrezza, Cliff was Director of Management Systems Engineering for Motorola, and participated in the design and development of Motorola's Switched Digital Video and Resource Management Systems. Prior to Motorola's acquisition of Vertasent LLC, Cliff was a founder and Vice President of Engineering, as well as a lead developer working on all areas of Vertasent's technology.

Cliff also participated in Fred Allegrezza's first startup venture, Vivid Technology. At Vivid, Cliff was Vice President of Engineering as well as a lead developer working on Vivid's complete VOD System. Following Concurrent Computer Corporation's acquisition of Vivid Technology, Cliff continued to work on the design and development in all areas of Concurrent's VOD system offering as a Senior Consulting Engineer. Cliff has extensive experience in all aspects of VOD Systems including Settop Application Development, MPEG Transport Multiplexing, Cable System Communication, and VOD Management systems. He is a named inventor on a number of patents in VOD system management. Prior to Vivid Technology, Mr. Lewis was a Manager for Software Development, as well as a lead developer at Moore Products Company, working on advanced Process Control solutions. From his years in process control, Mr. Lewis brings experience in development of high-reliability distributed systems‚ with expertise in communications system and graphical user-interface development.

Mr. Lewis holds a BSEE from Lafayette College 1981, and an MSCE from Villanova University 1988.

Tim Court

Founder, Director

Tim Court has over 30 years experience in the computer industry‚ ranging from field service to systems design. Prior to starting Venture 3 Systems with Fred and Cliff‚ Tim was a Principal Engineer at Motorola‚ designing and developing their range of cable resource management products. Prior to Motorola’s acquisition of Vertasent LLC‚ Tim worked as a senior software engineer‚ providing expertise on the Linux platform and advanced networking concepts. During his time at Vertasent‚ Tim worked with Comcast helping them design their next generation architecture that included Switched Digital Video.

Before joining Vertasent‚ Tim spent 20 years at Concurrent Computer Corporation and gained experience in many aspects of the computer industry. During his time at Concurrent‚ Tim worked in Field Service; provided consultancy to Concurrent's customers on the best use of Concurrent's products in their applications‚ such as flight simulators and data acquisition systems; worked as a principal software engineer on Concurrent's range of Video-On-Demand products and finally as a Systems Engineer working on the design of new products and features.

Merle Eakins

Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Merle joins the team with over 35 years of experience in Consumer Electronics Sales and Marketing. Merle was VP of National Accounts with Philips in the 1990s growing the revenue from $180M to $990M with major national retailers. After Philips‚ Merle joined with Emerson Radio as Senior Vice president of Sales and Marketing leading them from bankruptcy to profitability in 1995‚ while increasing sales by 35% to $654 Million. He was recognized in Industry trade magazines for the amazing turn-around of one of America's most recognized brands. After Emerson‚ Merle joined Primestar Satellite as Vice President of Retail Sales. While there‚ he grew the retail sales from zero to 200 million in three years and was recognized as one of the “The Industry’s most Influential people.” After Primestar‚ Merle joined Aiwa Corporation as Senior Vice President and Board Member of Aiwa North American. At Aiwa‚ Eakins revamped sales and marketing‚ refined the product offering and personally initiated business with major retail accounts. The net result was a 25% increase in sales. Most recently‚ Merle was an industry consultant with ECG Solutions for CE manufacturers.

Megan Smith

Vice President of Engineering

Megan leads product software development integrating the latest server and web technologies to provide a comprehensive set of easy to use product features. Megan brings both server and user interface experience to the team. Recently as a Senior Software Engineer at Motorola, Megan worked on developing real-time switched digital video systems. Prior to Motorola, Megan was a Software Engineer at Travel Impressions - an American Express subsidiary - developing high performance server and database systems as well as real-time integrations with third party vendors, such as airlines and hotels.

Megan holds a BSCS from Lehigh University 2005 and a MSCS from Lehigh University 2007.

Cheryl Lewis

Director of Sales

Cheryl M. Lewis‚ M.Ed.‚ has over 20 years experience assessing and working with special needs populations. In her capacity as a school psychologist‚ Ms. Lewis provided assessment‚ case management‚ consulting‚ and education program monitoring services to special needs students in the human services‚ mental health‚ and corrections systems. Prior to joining Venture 3 Systems‚ Ms. Lewis applied her experience with special needs individuals and education/social service providers to the computer software industry‚ as a sales and support services representative for computer and web-based special education management software programs.

Ms. Lewis holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology from West Chester State College and a Masters Degree in Education from Temple University.

Nancy Allegrezza

Director of Marketing

Nancy Allegrezza‚ RN‚ has 35 years of experience developing and implementing educational programs for nurses and patients. The last 10 years of her work has focused on senior care. Her nursing background is extensive‚ providing direct patient care and education in long term care‚ community nursing and hospital based practice. She is on the Nursing Advisory Board at Gwynedd-Mercy College and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International.
